After this busy summer, I’ve really let personal projects and art fall by the wayside. A long while ago, my friend Lauren Sanderson of Lauren Sanderson Photography turned me onto I Heart Faces, a community photo challenge and tutorial site. And when I say a long while ago, it’s been at least a year since I saw her participate for the first time. I finally made some time to participate myself and I’m entering this week’s photo challenge: Friendship. Below is a picture from our summer vacation with the K’s. This particular image is from Seaside, Florida. This was the first time my little girl Lucy and her friend C. had seen each other since the K’s moved away last year. Since Lucy was barely 1 when they left, I wasn’t sure if she would remember her. There definitely must have been a rekindled connection though because these two spent an awesome week together playing at the beach like no time had passed! I caught this one of them together just before sunset. Face melting sweetness!
I can’t wait to keep participating in I Heart Faces as much as I can. These weekly challenges are open to EVERYONE so break out your camera and get started! Leave a comment for me here if you enter too because I would love to see what everyone comes up with!
