Believe it or not, my holiday season is starting to draw to a close as far as work is concerned. Products are getting packaged, cards are being sent out, and the phones are finally starting to ring only a 15 or 20 times a day! I wanted to take this second to thank everyone that I’ve had the great opportunity to work with over the past year and to those who have followed my work. I’ve always said the best part of this job is that there is completely no need for me to wear high heels, but truly it is getting to meet a ton of fantastic families and new friends who let me into their lives for a short time to capture them at their finest (and sometimes not so finest). I had a small urge to go back and take a count of how many actual photos I took over the year, but then I thought better and ate some more things that were either dipped in or smothered with chocolate. Oh, how delicious these holiday times can be!

I figured some photos of the Derryberry crew were well overdue. I snagged my buddy Kelly today (THANK YOU KELLY) and asked her to snap a few family pics of us since I realized we have so few that we are all in. The curse of being a professional photographer is that I’m never in the pictures! So here we go, pictures of me and my two favorite people. Bask in our quirky cuteness!

Ooh and what was that mixed in? My handmade wreath that I made? Yes, any excuse to make more people look at it. It’s fabulous and gaudy and magical. Did I mention I made it? I did, really. Happy holidays, y’all.
