Why, hello there night owls! I’m just barely making it to the blog this week, but I have to say, it’s because I was having too much fun playing with Catherine’s photos. Lately I’ve been taking an image or two from a regular session and allowing myself to play. I think, if I could do anything to this image that maybe was just for me, what would I do? So here’s my creative play for Catherine. A little haunting. A lot of beautiful. She had the bluest eyes, it was hard to resist.

As for the rest of Catherine’s session, I mean, come on. She’s gorgeous! Hanging with her and her mom for a Sunday afternoon certainly did not feel like work. Catherine’s mom was an EXCELLENT assistant and definitely kept us laughing! I had suggested to both of them that we take out one of the vintage dresses from the studio to play in if there was time at the end of the session. Right as I had Catherine giving me super model face, some nearby friends of hers happen to be hanging in the same park! We broke character and snapped a few of her and the girls. I am still friends with my group of girls from high school and college and let me tell you, we cherish every picture we have of each other from a hundred years ago. I’m so glad they crashed our shoot!
